<p>I started learning how to program a few years ago and wasn't sure if I wanted to make a career out of it. As time went on I found myself wanting to build helpful applications for everyday people who would tell me how many of the applications they use don't work that well. I would find myself looking for better solutions for them and it sparked a desire to take programming to another level for myself and start a career in software engineering. I realized there is still much to do and I want to be a part of it. Since javascript was the first programming language I learned I will be using it in my blog post more than anything else.
